rich people; poor people

there's this trend now...of abusing/demeaning poor people
i'm talking mostly of the ads...
that ad of a plano tv which went a day in the life of an ordinary man ("feeding fish": he is feeding his pet dolphin, etc.)
there are several others...i'll edit this post and put them up as soon as i remember...

the point is, i find it disturbing...to say the least...its "ordinary" to be poor in a country where about 70% of the population lives below the poverty line...but being extraordinary with help of money (that you earn mostly by shady deals)...think about the defence provided for Ambani in Guru...that he has done it for the people of the country...(surely, if he has amassed that amount of money through other than completely transparent means, he has been depriving, cheating and decieving people, right?) it doesn't get better than that really....

i was wondering if this is the reason why what is being done all over the state (at a microscopic level) and all over the world is not being stopped...we are aiming at "development" like the western countries...the rich western countries (with the world's 20% population) live on 80% of the world's resources....it is NOT logically possible for the rest of us to live like that...yes, so 20% of the third world population can live like that....and all this "development" is really for them, about them...

i dont know, but that really strikes me as unfair...if you know what i mean

well....the argument of the rich & the poor will exsist as long as the 2 entities exsist..
the rich will get richer & the poor...well...some of them do get to live a better life down the line...
no use blaming others when we cannot make a difference..:)
